Fma who is wrath

Bradley, who is Wrath's lawful wife. For the most part, Wrath's life is not under his control, and he has a duty to carry out as the bridger between the human and homunculus worlds. He doesn't have much autonomy. But he did get to make one decision: to choose and marry Mrs. Bradley, and he is quite proud of that and takes comfort in it.

He even explained this to Lan Fan as he lay dying on the Promised Day. Well, whatever makes him happy. Most characters in the world of Fullmetal Alchemist were named after military hardware, from "Hawkeye" to "Mustang" to "Armstrong," and author Hiromu Arakawa didn't miss a trick with her deep research for this series. Everything here is highly meaningful. Infantry fighting vehicles, or IFVs, ar meant to carry around a squad of soldiers at high speeds and provide support fire during a battle.

This is Prince Ling of the faraway nation of Xing. What does he have in common with Wrath? If you think about it, they're somewhat similar: both were born human, but longed for greatness, and had Philosopher's Stones placed in them. Now both of them are more than human, though Ling actually lost Greed's power before becoming the Xingese emperor.

Wrath's final battle was a deadly duel with Scar during the Promised Day, and this battle's conclusion was quite symbolic in more ways than one. To start with, take note that Wrath had both arms sliced off when the duel reached its conclusion. This is symbolic of Dante's Divine Comedy ; in fact, several homunculi suffer punishment similar to that's found in that poem like Envy. In that epic poem, the wrathful have their arms torn off, so they can no longer use their hands and fists to harm and beat others.

They are rendered harmless, just like that. All in all, it could be implied that Wrath could be one of the more powerful homunculi alongside Envy, Lust and Pride considering the fact that he can use alchemy which could be dangerous to the other homunculi, especially if he has their remains to his advantage as he did with Lust.

In the anime, Wrath is the Homunculus reincarnation of Izumi 's son, who died at birth. After Izumi tried to resurrect him and saw that what had come back was not her child or at least not entirely , Wrath was given to the Gate. Izumi later regretted her decision after hearing him cry and tried to reach him, but the gate closed before she could.

Wrath spent much time inside the Gate, waiting and wanting to get out all while his body aged and the hate for the mother who had condemned him to the absolute darkness of the Gate grew. When the Gate opened while the Elric Brothers were trying to resurrect their mother, Wrath acquired both Edward 's right arm and left leg. Wrath states that long after, he opened the Gate himself, but for some reason could not remember who he was, and then lived on Yock Island, the same island where the Elric Brothers spent one month of Alchemy training many years prior.

Following a quick battle with Izumi and the Elrics, he was forgiven by the former and was allowed to stay with the Curtis family. However, after being captured by the military and found by Envy , who fed him his first batch of Red Stones , Wrath joined the other Homunculi.

As time went on, he began to think of Sloth as his mother. When Sloth was being repeatedly slashed by Lust as a distraction so Ed could get his mother's body bone, Wrath appeared and snatched it, fusing it with himself.

Wrath then reentered the house and stopped Lust from attacking 'mommy'. Sloth tried to run away, but Ed followed her. Wrath was about to follow them, but Lust stopped him. They fought until Wrath found the locket Edward had thrown to Lust previously.

As with other Homunculi, Lust was paralyzed by being in close proximity to the body parts of the person intended to be revived in this case a lock of hair attached to the locket. With this advantage, Wrath used his borrowed limbs to perform alchemy and killed her. Later, Wrath went to save Sloth and fused himself with her so he would "never lose her". However, because he was still fused with Trisha's bone, his close contact paralyzed Sloth.

Ed used alchemy to turn Sloth's liquid body into ethanol, causing her to evaporate around Wrath, severely burning half of his body the part still fused and leaving him heavily scarred. Later, Izumi tried to convince Wrath to come with her. Wrath, insisting that Sloth was his real mother, refused and ran away.

He didn't appear again until he, Dante, and Envy were inside the underground city. He begged for Dante and Envy to allow him to use the Philosopher's Stone to bring Sloth back to life. This eye is not unlike the Sharingan. It allows Wrath to easily see an opponent's attack coming, and it gives him enough early warning to avoid those attacks and exploit his opponent's vulnerabilities, even the tiniest ones. That eyepatch of his is hiding a true weapon. The homunculi are capable of drawing upon the power of their Philosopher's Stones to regenerate, and Envy and Gluttony, in particular, have regenerated many times.

Meanwhile, Greed has very tough skin, and Pride shares that sheer endurance. As the chimeras found out to their display, Pride's humanoid body is just a container, and it can endure many savage blows without dying or coming apart. Pride shares aspects of the other six homunculi, and that includes Greed's toughness.

Wrath can't match that. Pride only has his own body to fight with; Wrath can use anything. This makes him cool to watch in combat, and it seems like he's never unarmed, even if his body itself isn't a weapon. Wrath prefers swords, and he is absolutely deadly with them. If disarmed, Wrath will take whatever else he can find, such as daggers or even hand grenades, and he used a grenade to take out an entire battle tank that faced him in the field of battle.

A resourceful fighter is often a winner. More than once, Pride has demonstrated the ability to simply eat another person or homunculus and obtain their powers right away. First, Pride ate Gluttony, and he obtained Gluttony's sharp nose. Then he gobbled up Kimblee, and gained his sharp instincts for battle and knowledge of alchemy.

If Pride can't yet do something, then he will eat someone who can. All of the homunculi are vicious creatures, but some of them tend to draw out battles for the fun of it. Envy likes to torment his human opponents during a clash, and Lust does something similar.
