Legend of mana which weapon

Finally, knives are the way to go for speed-focused weapons. While they never deal an exceptional amount of damage, these weapons are great for pouncing quickly to damage enemies before dodging to use a special technique. Take a look at the map thumbnail to see where you can start in order to follow the rest of this Walkthrough. Move the map cursor to the top right corner. Now move the cursor 2 spaces to left and then 3 spaces down. You should see water in the left-most column in the 2nd space from the top and in the right-most column in the 3rd space from the top.

Press X twice to proceed. Plus, one-handed swords give good stats, have good damage, and are quite fast. One-handed axes a bit slower, but they deal a bit more damage than swords. If using shields is not for you, but you are into swords, the two-handed swords are a great choice. Hammers follow the same logic of axes, being slow to swing and strong to hit.

Those who aren't comfortable getting up-close and personal with enemies should ignore these two. Bows, though known to be difficult by some, are the best—and, potentially, only—ranged weapon in the game. They can also be incredibly strong if used properly so some players consider practicing with them to be well worth the time. Staves, unsurprisingly, are best suited for magic-users and casters.

They give a bonus to magic, but otherwise aren't very useful in combat.
