Where is downloads folder in xp
Unlike iPhone, app downloads are not stored on the home screen of your Android device, and can be found with an upward swipe on the home screen. This folder is usually located on the drive where Windows is installed for example, C:usersyour namedownloads.
You can always move downloads from the Downloads folder to other places on your PC. Switch off your phone and wait for few minutes say min and then switch on and wait for few minutes. In the Settings window, click System. Scroll down until you see the View advanced settings button and click on that. Scroll down to the Downloads section. Click the Change button and choose a new location for the downloads.
Windows 7 IE9 looks like this - click Save to use the Downloads folder in your profile, or Save As to choose a different location i. Open is the same as Run in earlier versions, and not recommended in most cases. Personally, I save most everything to my Desktop , and sort it later If you are unsure of the file name you downloaded, you can filter your search by date - in Windows XP, choose Search from the Start menu.

The size of the desktop folder seriously affects the speed of both loading and running Windows. I wasn't advising to use that desktop folder as a permanent storage location, but as a temporary holding location until you install or move whatever you download and save in it. Frank, you may move them, but I've had dozens of machines to fix where that was the biggest problem.
Next biggest fault is lack of AV, and then it's missing updates. I've worked on computers where the desktop was strewn with file icons because their owner didn't know any better than to direct and save them in a single location - which is why I instruct and encourage them to use a single location on the desktop.
We all have different ways of working on and setting up computers - which is what works best for us and hopefully works best for our clients. As Seen On. Welcome to Tech Support Guy! Latest posts.
